knowledge is a habit

So after getting hit with a ridiculous amount of blog spam I decided to try a plug in for WordPress. After I upgraded my WordPress install to something more recent (1.5) I downloaded and activated Spam Karma 1.2 alpha.

Intstead of dumping everything to ‘moderate’ mode it is blocking blog spam with a minimum of interaction from me, which is nice. It uses a bunch of different methods to score a comment as spam (including poster history (or lack of), URLs in comment, Realtime Blacklist, and will re-moderate old posts if newer posts are suspicious).
